my story

I've been shooting for 15 years, which honestly sounds insane when I say it out loud.

I'm self-taught — no film school, no assisting my way up. Just a camera, a lot of trial and error, and a mentor (shoutout to Peter Lindbergh) who taught me that light and confidence matter more than gear ever will.

I'm not a trendsetter. Never have been. I just know what I like: great light, an interesting face, a cool location, and I'm happy.

I've photographed all kinds of people in all kinds of places, picked up 26 portrait awards along the way, and I'm still — still — obsessed with getting that shot. The one where someone looks at their photo and goes "oh, that's actually me.
